Phone the reception on 01389 811855 to book an appointment for surgeries: Monday – Friday 09:30 – 12:00 and 15:30 – 17:20.

Emergency Appointments

The practice holds a certain number of emergency appointments each day. If you wish to seen in one of these slots, you can phone the surgery at 08:30 on 01389 811855 to make an appointment for the same day.

Tuesday Evening

We have bookable appointments from 5.30pm with both Dr Lynn & Dr McDevitt.

These late evening appointments are to accommodate patients who cannot attend within regular opening hours.

We have a range of appointments; pre-bookable, on –the- day, and urgent appointments. We ask patients to phone as early as possible for on-the-day and urgent appointments, as these are limited.

Telephone Advice

It may be possible for us to help with some problems over the telephone. If you would like to speak to a doctor by telephone this can be arranged.

Medical Certificates

A doctor’s medical certificate is not required for any illness lasting a week or less. If you are off work for seven days or less you should fill in a self –certificate in the first week.

If you are still unfit for work, please contact the surgery and we will arrange an appointment for you with your GP.

Cancellations

If you cannot attend an appointment, for any reason please, inform us as soon as possible in order for us to give the slot to someone else.

Home Visits

Please try to telephone the surgery as soon as possible if you need a home visit. However, please do try to come to the surgery, if possible, as several patients can be seen in the Practice in the time it takes for the doctor to make a home visit.

You can be visited at home by a community nurse if you are referred by your GP. You should also be visited at home by a health visitor if you have recently had a baby or if you are newly registered with a GP and have a child under five years.

Obtaining Test Results

The practice has a strict policy regarding confidentiality and data protection. Test results will only be released to the person to whom they relate, unless that person has given prior permission for the release of the results to someone else or they are not capable of understanding the results.

Please allow 4-5 working days before phoning for your results.
